The Centre for Intellectual Property Law (CIER) aims at enhancement and dissemination of knowledge about intellectual and industrial property.

CIER focuses on all areas of intellectual and industrial property, but has particular expertise in respect of copyright law, patent law, competition law, media and advertisement law.

CIER is taking part in the EU FET-Flagship Coordination Action Robot Companions for Citizens as leader in the Society Workgroup - on 'legal issues'
